SOMERSET, NJ - The Somerset County Park Commission has announced that the newly renovated and updated Callaway Fitting Center at Neshanic Valley Golf Course will celebrate a Grand Re-Opening on Saturday, September 8, 2012 from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.

The Callaway Fitting Center is the centerpiece of the Callaway Golf Performance Center at Neshanic Valley Golf Course, 2301 South Branch Road, Neshanic Station, New Jersey.

The Grand Re-Opening of the fitting center follows a complete technological upgrade that offers the same state-of-the-art computerized golf club fitting and swing analysis system used to fit Callaway touring professionals.

The Center incorporates high-speed cameras with sound equipment to capture swing data to provide optimum club specifications for an individual's golf swing. Measurements include club head and ball speed, launch angle, side angle measurements, backspin and trajectory shape, sidespin measurements, swing tempo, attack angle measurements, lie angle, impact efficiency, and trajectory results.

The day-long Celebration will include free 15-minute club fitting session that will familiarize golfers with the technology and accuracy of the fitting equipment, a Short Game Demo Day that will include wedge fittings, and a Putter Demo Day that will include putter fittings and instruction on the proper use of belly and longer putters. 

Giveaways and prizes will be awarded throughout the day including sleeves of balls and other Callaway products and rounds of golf at the Neshanic Valley Championship course. Reservations for a fitting time may be made by calling 908-369-8232.
