FREE SUMMER CONCERT SERIES CONTINUES JULY 29

WITH THE CHI-LITES

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The Somerset County Park Commission Free Summer Concert Series at Duke Island Park on Old York Road in Bridgewater will continue on Sunday, July 29, 2012, with a live performance of the classic rhythm and blues performed by The Chi-Lites. The concert is scheduled from 7:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M.

The Chi-Lites are one of the all-time top R&B groups, touring for almost 55 years.  Their hits include Oh Girl, Have You Seen Her, and Hot on a Thing.  In total they earned 11 top 40 hits.  In 2000 they were inducted into Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame, as well as inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2005.

Concertgoers are encouraged to bring, picnic baskets, chairs and blankets for a beautiful evening of entertainment under the summer skies. Ample parking is available.
