9/11 Memorials, Continued Wemple Hearing Top This Week

Tuesday

  • The county is holding its annual 9/11 memorial at the memorial on Main Street in Somerville. We'll have photos from the ceremony.

Wednesday

  • The township is holding its annual ceremony Tuesday in front of the 9/11 memorial at the municipal complex, with guest speaker Senator Michael Doherty. We'll have video of the memorial.
  • The hearing for the Wemple property is expected to continue at Tuesday's planning board meeting, with an expectation of changed plans. We'll have a full recap of the meeting.

Thursday

  • Two board of education members are participating in a bicycle ride to benefit breast cancer research. We'll have information on the ride and how to donate.

Saturday

  • Olympian Joetta Clark Diggs is holding her annual Sports Extravanganza at the Bridgewater Marriott, complete with appearances by several Olympians. We'll have photos of the big event.
