BOE Meeting, Dog Show Highlight Week

The Board of Education's meeting helps begin the week, while a dog show takes it out in style.
Here's a look at what else is happening this week:
Monday-The Somerset Naturalists will be holding their meeting at 8 p.m. in Meeting Room B of the Bridgewater Township Library.
Tuesday-Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District Board of Education will be holding its work meeting at 8 p.m. at the John F. Kennedy Elementary School.
Wednesday-Comedian Matt Bellace will perform "It's 21 For A Reason" at 7 p.m. at the Ridge Performing Arts Center at Ridge High School.
Thursday-Retired librarian Alice DiNizo will discuss how to get your writings published and what to avoid at 9:30 a.m. in the meeting room at the Bridgewater Township Library.
Friday-Children ages 3-5, with a parent, will be able to participate in an imaginary visit to points around the globe at an event called "Wild Earth Tour" from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Lord Stirling Park, Environmental Education Center. Advanced payment and registration is required, so check the event's listing soon.
Saturday-The 4-H Circuit Dog Show will be held at the Ted Blum 4-H Center at the Rutgers Cooperative Extension at 8:30 a.m.
Sunday-Hip and healthy foods will be created by young chef participants at the Young Chefs Academy in Hillsborough. Mini Veggie Frittatas, Breakfast Cereal Muffins and Creamy Berry Smoothie are on the menu.
