Carnival Marks End of Library's 2010 Summer Programming

The Bridgewater Library held a season-ending Summer Reading Club Carnival Thursday.

The Bridgewater Township Library held its free season-ending carnival Thursday, with many activities for the kids, including games and art projects, as well as volunteers making balloon animals.

Marna Elliot, who runs the library's Youth Services Department, was very happy with the response to the carnival, and said that it was the culmination of the summer reading program.

"This is one of our biggest crowds for a summer event," she said. "We were looking for the children to read or be read to for 2 million minutes this summer."
