UPDATE: DSW Opening on Commons Way Sept. 20
The store will open in former Borders location.
UPDATE: According to a sign in front of the store on Commons Way, DSW will be opening Sept. 20.

Although no opening date has been set, DSW is definitely coming to Bridgewater, with a sign advertising its impending arrival on Commons Way.
DSW will take the place of Borders, which closed in 2011, when the company closed all of its stores.
In May, Howard Turbowitz, the township's economic development officer, said construction had not yet begun, but the shoe store will be opening there.
Now that more traces of Borders have been erased from the store, and DSW is beginning to advertise its arrival, we want to know what you are thinking about the new store.
Are you looking forward to DSW coming to Bridgewater? And what other stores would you like to see open in town?

Yes I personally cannot wait until DSW arrives!!! I'd love to see Whole Foods in Bridgewater. Nordstrom would be nice, too.

A Whole Foods or Trader Joe's would be terrific..I'm surprised their site location people haven't thought of it already as the demographics in our area are what they look for

Great to see something filling up these empty stores. There are a bunch more to go. How about an IKEA in the complex where Home Depot is on Route 202. Could fill up that old Expo store.
