The four Bridgewater fire districts will be holding their annual elections Saturday, with voters choosing commissioners and deciding on requested budgets.
The polls will be open from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, and residents are requested to vote only in their designated districts.
Attendance for the fire district elections is notoriously low. In 2012, no more than about 130 people voted in each district.
District one covers Martinsville, with the Martinsville Volunteer Fire Company, and voting will be held at the Martinsville Fire House on Washington Valley Road.
District two is for the Bradley Gardens section of town, and voting will be held in the firehouse bays of the Bradley Gardens Fire Company on Old York Road.
District three covers residents living in Country Hills, Green Knoll or North Branch, and voting will take place at the municipal building on Commons Way.
District four covers the Finderne section of town, and voting will be held at the Finderne Fire Department on East Main Street.
Click on the individual fire district names to see who is running for the commissions, and the size of the proposed budget.

Please vote AGAINST fire district #3 Budget. The Green Knoll fire company has REPEATEDLY refused to publicly open their finances in light of the T-Mobile controversy they are involved with. This group has uprooted the goodwill in their community by harassing seniors with coughing and verbal abuse during their testimony at the zoning board, and further I was witness to the Chief of the Green Knoll FD get into a physical confrontation with an objector at their Zoning Board hearing. Vote NO on their budget as a message that Green Knoll Fire Company must disclose their financial dealings with Large Corporations if they are to accept tax dollars. They can not have it both ways. Vote NO.
