First Day of School to Be Only Four Hours
We count down what you need to know for the first day of school, and a few after that.
Today is the first day of school, and we've got your list of five things you need to know to be prepared for the day.
- All schools will be on a half day schedule—primary schools will run from 8:35 a.m. to 12:50 p.m.; intermediate schools will run from 9:05 a.m. to 1:25 p.m.; middle school will run from 7:35 a.m. to 11:58 a.m.; and the high school will run from 7:20 a.m. to 12:02 p.m. The AM kindergarten will run from 8:35 a.m. to 10:40 a.m., and the PM kindergarten will run from 10:45 a.m. to 12:50 p.m.
- No lunches will be served because the schools are all on a four-hour schedule.
- The district will be back to a full-day schedule Thursday.
- The high school will be led by new principal Lew Ludwig.
- And Bridgewater Patch will be bringing you photos of students heading off to school on the bus for the first day of the new year!
