Girls Tennis Wins Group 4 Title

Girls field hockey advances in SCT.

 

A great day in Bridgewater-Raritan athletics saw the girls tennis team earn a Group 4 title, as well as the girls field hockey advance to the semifinal round of the SCT.

Girls Tennis Wins Title

The Bridgewater-Raritan girls tennis team stopped Livingston, 4-1, in the finals of the Group 4 State Tournament, according to NJ.com. Bridgewater (17-1) reached the finals after stopping Cherry Hill East, 4-1, in the semifinals.

Girls Soccer Earns Draw

The Bridgewater-Raritan girls soccer team’s game against Franklin ended in a 0-0 tie, according to NJ.com. Keeper Casey Murphy stopped six shots for Bridgewater (11-4-2).

Girls Field Hockey Advances

Catherine Caro, Emily Howarth and Taylor Mygatt each finished with two goals to help the Bridgewater-Raritan girls field hockey team past Pingry, 8-1, in the semifinal round of the Somerset County Tournament, according to NJ.com.

Boys Soccer Rolls

Zak Jones had two goals to help the Bridgewater-Raritan boys soccer team past Franklin, 5-1, according to NJ.com. Eli Adams, Sal Vitello and Chris Hall each scored once for Bridgewater-Raritan (13-2).
