The Department of Transportation and Hazmat teams were called out after a tractor trailer overturned on Route 287 in Bridgewater, spilling diesel fuel on the roadway around 5:30 a.m. Thursday.
State police are currently still investigating the accident, but said that the road has since been cleared.
According to state police, the DOT spread sand along the roadway to make it less slick, and a Hazmat team cleaned up the spilled diesel fuel.
The roadway is completely clear at this point, and there are no driving issues at this time, police said.

Anyone know where on 287 this occurred? I believe 287 meanders through Bridgewater for several miles.
