After being without power for days after the storm, the Shimon and Sara Birnbaum Jewish Community Center finally reopened Saturday, and is offering a free pasta dinner at the center.
The dinner will be held for JCC members and other members of the community Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the center on Talamini Road.
The JCC is requesting that those interested in attending RSVP before coming to let them know how many people will be there, but please do not call later than 4 p.m.
Call 908-725-6994, ext. 201 to make a reservation.
For those who do have power, the JCC is asking that anyone who can cook up a pot of pasta, make a salad or bring bread or dessert do so before coming to the dinner.
