In soccer, Monahan was chosen to play in the All Star game and took advantage, scoring a goal and getting an assist. For his efforts, David was selected as Most Valuable Player of the All Star game.

In hockey, Monahan was a four-year starter, and now holds the Panthers school record for goals scored, with 118 and 57 assists.

As a golfer, Monahan has a 4 handicap, and plays as the lead golfer on the high school team.
