The Bridgewater-Raritan High School football team defeated North Hunterdon in its Homecoming game Friday, winning 17-3.

According to an article on nj.com, the Panthers fell behind early before scoring the game's final 17 points. Bridgewater's scoring began on a 7-yard touchdown toss from Donny Stires to Tommy Goodberlet to take the lead.

Michael Pennella added another touchdown for the Panthers and Anthony Balliro booted a 24-yard field goal for the final scoring margin, the article said.

The Homecoming King and Queen were named at halftime and the  Bridgewater-Raritan High School marching band performed.

The team is now 4-3 on the season, and will play at Westfield High School Oct. 27 at 2 p.m.
