Petty-Evans Nets 17 as Girls Stop Immaculata

Denisha Petty-Evans scored a game-high 17 points and hit three 3-pointers as the Bridgewater girls basketball team cruised to a 47-23 win over Immaculata on Tuesday night, improving its record to 8-5 on the season.

Sarah Brophy went for 10 points and Hannah Brophy snagged seven boards for Bridgewater, who pounced on Immaculata in the second quarter, building an 18-point lead at halftime.

Kat Papalski finished with 12 points for Immaculata (4-10) and Christine Tress added six points, four rebounds and two assists for Bridgewater.
