Four-time Olympian, author and businesswoman Joetta Clark Diggs began a partnership with Sanofi U.S., with its headquarters in Bridgewater, to bring free, fun and productive fitness programs to students at Robert Morris School in South Bound Brook, according to a release from her organization.
The Head 2 Toe Fitness program, which was created by the Joetta Clark Diggs Sports Foundation, Inc., provides nutrition, fitness and life skills training to students, the release said. Students, upon completing the full program, will be able to create their own daily fitness routines.
Fitness sessions started Jan. 20, and run for seven weeks, the release said.
Clark Diggs is the executive director of the Joetta Clark Diggs Sports Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit organization working to teaching to students in grades kindergarten through 12 about the good health and positive work ethics associated with sports, the release said.
“By partnering with Sanofi U.S., it tells the community that Sanofi U.S. is truly interested in the health and well-being of people everywhere, starting with our children,” she said in the release.
Melissa Feltmann, director of North America Home State Public Affairs at Sanofi U.S., said the company is glad to participate.
“As a leading diversified healthcare company based in New Jersey, we are happy to sponsor this program that teaches the importance of health and wellness to children in our communities,” she said in the release.
