The first snowstorm of 2012 made for some slippery conditions on Saturday as snow, rain and sleet kept most people within the warm confines of there own homes.
While some people only ventured out to clear their sidewalks and driveways, others decided to take advantage of all the snow, making their way outside for some sledding and fun, despite businesses and other locations around town remaining empty throughout the morning.
