United Way Prom Dress Drive Seeks Donations

A nonprofit organization is looking for residents to donate prom dresses by April 9 to help teens in need.

United Way of Northern New Jersey Young Professionals are collecting new and gently-used prom dresses and accessories for its fourth annual Prom Dress Collection. Now through April 9, area residents can drop off donations at three Somerset County locations.

The drive is designed to help offset the high cost of attending a high school prom for northern New Jersey teens whose families are struggling to make ends meet. In addition to dresses, donations of costume jewelry, purses, shoes and new cosmetics are welcome.

Donations can be dropped off at the following Somerset County locations. Drop-off times vary.
