The big question now is that will the new mayor support emergency services in this town or give us the middle finger again. Hopefully unlike the current mayor he knows how many rescue squads and fire departments the town has. Hopefully he will be willing to work with emergency services and give us support that we need to do our job. So departments will not have to seek outside income again just to pay the bills. After the year of having the hurricane and the snow storms call after call our budgets are depleted. Again hopefully he will not try and cut the budget again and try to take away the one benefit we do get. Just re-member there are other departments affected not just Green Knoll. So I wish you the very best as the new mayor.

Taxpayer, you wrote some horrible things prior to the election and you continue to do the same thing after. Give the middle finger to Emergency services? You need to stop already. He never tried to cut any budgets. The voters successfully stopped THE GREEN KNOLL BUDGET. The Green Knoll FD needs to wise up that you cannot crap on your neighbors and have a chief that spews angry venom and expect unilateral support. Thanks for your positive comments as always. PS- George came in 3rd for a reason.

See you think the world is all about Green Knoll and guess what there is more to Bridgewater the Green Knoll. Hey Mr Umbris got a question for you ever try and serve your community? Not just complain about things? Just a question. Like I sais I'm sure Dist 3 would be happy to place you on the do not respond to list.

On the morning after it appears we can, now, extol
the validity of even an informal poll.

Yes, I do serve my community in a variety of ways.. I use my own name on this forum unlike you. Research what I do. See you at the food bank. You are a sad person "Taxpayer". Nice threat by you to put me on the do not respond list. I did not know there was such a list. Is there more you would like to tell us?

is that true - the Fire Dept. has a "NO NOT RESPOND" List ??? Any citizen whose put on that list would be able to sue the Fire Dept. in to non-existence. And if anyone should die because of such a list, a lawsuit should be filed against everyone in that Department for MURDER. BT - is that what you advocate? Are you saying that such a list does indeed - exist? Prove it.

Mr. Lee and Mr. Umbris as a Deputy Chief I can assure you that the fire departments in Bridgewater Township don’t have a “do not respond list”. So you can sleep okay a night an know the fire departments will be there if you ever need help. We do not discriminate against race, sex, wealth, or opinion and are obligated to provide fire protection to all citizens of the township no matter what. Having read the post above it sound to me like a personnel opinion not departmental policy. People have the right to express a personnel opinions and we have no control over that. Hope this helps clarify this issue.

Deputy Springer, thanks for the clarity. It is good to know there is not a "Do Not Respond" list such as the one Mr. Bridgewater Taxpayer referred to. I hope you see what is happening in your in the Green Knoll area. Neighbors against neighbors over a cell tower that never should have been considered. That tower is the real reason George Jones placed 3rd. Everyone knew it happened on his watch and he should have stopped it. I am sure if Green Knoll pulled their contract w/ TMobile donations and general community relations would improve immediately. It's not worth the $22,000 annual payment. Sad this whole mess happened. We support you and can't thank you enough for what you all do, but don't depress our housing values and destroy our neighborhood with this blight. Thank you.
