When Bridgewater resident John Manna was stationed in Germany during the Korean War, he worked with the Central Intelligence Agency, and often had to go to the IG Farben building, which served as the headquarters for the whole European command. Every time he had to go to headquarters, Manna said, he would take the train to Frankfurt, and be picked up by another officer in a Jeep. He never knew who the driver was.
