An administrative law judge's ruling that President Barack Obama is eligible to appear on New Jersey's upcoming primary ballot was upheld by Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno, a spokesman for New Jersey's Division of Elections said early Friday afternoon. In what attorney Mario Apuzzo is calling a "sham of justice," a state judge ruled against objectors seeking to remove President Barack Obama's name from New Jersey's upcoming primary ballot. According to Apuzzo, the attorney representing New Jersey residents Nick Purpura and Ted Moran, Deputy Director and Administrative Law Judge Jeff Masin ruled against the ballot challenge following a more than three-hour hearing earlier this week. Somerset Hills Republican Club invites public to hear 7th district candidates Tuesday night.
The public is invited from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday to hear Rep. Leonard Lance, a Republican who represents the 7th district, to speak on what he does in Congress. His challenger, Republican candidate David Larsen, will also have a chance to discuss what he would like to do if he wins the election. The forum is being sponsored by the Somerset Hills Republican Club, and all in the Somerset Hills are invited, according to an announcement from the club.
