The Bridgewater Environmental Commission and the township are hosting the annual Eco-Blast Fair May 5 at Kid Street Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The fair will feature birdhouse painting for kids, a workshop on building a rain barrel, an activity to plant seedlings, music from That's Entertainment, "Puddles" the NJ American Water Tap Truck and much more.
There will also be raffles and giveaways of fruit trees, a backyard composter, reusable water bottles and more. Refreshments are being provided by Milano Grille, Starbucks, Applegate Farms and others.
Exhibitors at the fair will include Sustainable Bridgewater, Bridgewater Shade Tree Board, Somerset County RideWise, New Jersey Bee Keepers Association, Sustainable Raritan River Project, Rutgers Cooperative Extension, Advanced Performance Solar, Melick's Farm, Bridgewater Patch, Freedom Solar Energy and Somerset Regional Animal Shelter.
