The Bridgewater Raritan Middle School houses all seventh and eighth grade students in the district, covering both Bridgewater and Raritan. Aside from the educational opportunities afforded to all students, the school provides different cultural and social experiences for students, including cultural arts programs, recognition for honor roll students, eighth grade graduation events, environmental trip and social events.

The school's language arts program includes a balanced literary approach, that includes reading and writing in several different genres and an understanding of grammar and other skills. Also included in the curriculum are mathematics classes, science, social studies, world languages, fine arts and technology studies.
