Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey presents Listening to the Past at the Van Horne House.
Girls in 2nd and 3rd grade are invited to come play colonial games like: hoops, skittles, nine pins and whirligigs.
Be creative with some colonial crafts and arts and learn about colonial fashion.
Girl will hear stories about the Van Horne House and the Battle of Bound Brook as well as learn about the founding of Girl Scouts and Juliette Gordon Low will be discussed by curators.

The Heritage Trail Association is located in the beautiful Van Horne House, which was originally built in 1750s. The association offers programs and events that educate area residents and visitors on the history of Somerset County. Bus tours, lectures and exhibits are all a part of the educational experience.
