A rain barrel workshop will be held at the Bridgewater Senior Center.
The program will teach:
- Benefits of rain barrels and the importance of the Peters Brook.
- Peters Brook Residential Rain Barrel Rebate Program: get rebates of $50-$200 back for installing rainbarrels at your house. Visitregionalcenterpartnership.org for more information.
- How to build a rain barrel. Register early! Limited quantity of barrels available.

More About Bridgewater Senior Citizens Center
The Bridgewater Senior Citizens Center provides many programs for its more than 100 registered members. Among those offered are computer classes, card games, pilates, weight training, aerobics classes and tai chi classes. While those classes are weekly events, the center also offers additional classes on nutrition and wellness, knitting and cooking, as well as bus trips to plays and restaurants, among other locations.
There are a plethora of special seminars for safe driving, financial planning, medicine and more. Members can also attend weekly meetings at the center and monthly movie nights. For those needing a ride to the center, the township offers free transportation to all these activities, as well as to the grocery store and doctor's appointments.
