Renewed Mosque Application Hearing at Special Meeting

Also, high school swimmers host Ridge today in Bridgewater.

The hopes of the members of the Al Falah Center to construct a mosque on Mountain Top Road have been reinvigorated with a judge's order—and a public hearing tonight at the high school.

The Planning Board set the meeting after federal judge Michael Shipp, sitting in U.S. District Court in Trenton, ordered the board rehear the application and rule on it without considering an ordinance approved in the middle of the initial hearings that limits the placement of houses of worship to locations on major thoroughfares.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m.
