Affinity Federal Credit Union Foundation hosts JP Stevens and Edison High School at Somerset Patriots Home Field
On May 16th, students from JP Stevens and Edison High School were given the opportunity to be VIP guests at the Somerset Patriots game against the Camden Riversharks. Affinity Federal Credit Union partnered with Edison Public Schools, as well as the Somerset Patriots, to host this event, which gave the students the opportunity to learn financial skills while enjoying all the perks of their VIP access to the game.
“This is the first year that we are working with Affinity Credit Union and their financial literacy program and hopefully we will continue every year,” said Holly Clark, Social Worker of Edison Public Schools.
The students were given the ability to witness the team’s warm-ups, toss the first pitch, stand on the infield, and sit in the deluxe box seats during the game. The students loved receiving the VIP access and anticipate visiting the field again.
