Dinner Dance to benefit The Giving Network

The Giving Network will host a benefit charity dinner dance from 7 to 11 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 16, at Soriano’s at Parkside, 141 Old York Road, Bridgewater.

“We are pleased to welcome the public to this event, which will be fun while also raising funds and awareness about the significant needs facing so many Somerset County residents,” said Elizabeth Schulz, chairperson of the event.

The Giving Network is a local all-volunteer  non-profit organization that was established in 1999 to help victims of Hurricane Floyd in Bound Brook, Manville, and other local towns. Today, 26 regular volunteers and many other occasional volunteers collect and redistribute donated household items and furnishings to Somerset County’s neediest residents and shelters.
