5 Recipes to Make With Kids

On Friday evening, students at will participate in Top Chef, showing off their cooking skills as they bring in prepared items to give out to anyone in attendance. Students and staff will taste the food items and vote on their favorites to vote one Hamilton family as the top chef. So in advance of the event, if you're preparing to cook with your children for the Hamilton event, we present some great family recipes.

All recipes are from Disney Family Fun Magazine.

  • Brownie Pizza—This round chocolate pizza-shaped brownie can be topped with all sorts of candies, icing and other items, as though they were real pizza toppings.
  • Caramel Apple Monster—You can make caramel apples on a stick, then add candy pieces to represent the different facial features.
  • Apple Pie—Use apples, cinammon, sugar and other ingredients to create a traditional apple pie.
  • Hard Boiled Egg Mice—Take the hard boiled eggs and turn them into mice with chive tails, radish ears and olive eyes to create the appearance of a mouse.
  • Pass and Punt Cookies—It's almost the Super Bowl and basketball season is in full swing, so bake some sugar cookies and decorate them with icing to represent the different sports.
