5 Things to Know About Bridgewater Soccer

The Bridgewater Soccer Association is continuing to hold its academy for the 5- to 7-year-old age group with a second session Wednesday, and more continuing through May 2. So in honor of the program, we present five things to know about the association.

  • Thousands of Players—The association has more than 30 teams, with about 500 children, both boys and girls, ages 7 through 18.
  • All Abilities—The association attracts kids with all different abilities who are interested in playing competitive soccer in a supervised program that provides for training and games.
  • All Ages—The organization has teams for all ages, including a 5+ team, a Junior Academy for U8 through U10 and more!
  • Scholarships—The organization offers a soccer scholarship, which was developed in 1985, to assist club soccer players who are looking to pursue their education after high school. Part of the annual tournament proceeds are used to fund this scholarship each year.
  • Sponsors—Sponsors throughout the years have included Branchburg Sports Complex, Camp Bow Wow, , and many more.
