5 Things to Know About the Health Fair

The Bridgewater Township Health Department is hosting its annual health fair at the Thursday with several organizations holding booths for area seniors. So in honor of the event, we present five things you need to know about the Health Fair.

• Free—The fair is completely free, and will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the senior center on Somerville Road. There will also be free refreshments from the . For more information, call 908-725-8020.
• Many Centers Representated—Having booths at the center will be Natural Medicine, Somerset Medical Center Community Health, Lions Club Mobile Eye Center and Dermatology Center of NJ.
• Free Screenings—The fair will offer free diabetes screenings, as well as screenings for skin cancer, vision, foot support and hearing.
• Health Information—There will be information available on sleep evaluations, cardiology and stroke programs and much more.
• Vendors Galore—Many vendors will be sharing information, including representatives of Home Health Care Agencies, Medical Supplies, Senior Activities, Assisted Living and Non-Profit Organizations.
