On Dec. 4, more than 85 people attended a Jewish LIFE program featuring award-winning author Letty Cottin Pogrebin.

Ms. Pogrebin spoke about how, after her bout with breast cancer, she came to write her recent book, "How to be a Friend to a Friend Who’s Sick." This book informs and recommends how friends and family members of the ill can best comfort, help, and even simply talk to an ailing individual.
