Bridgewater Senior Associate Joins YMCA Board of Directors

Jesse Nash, of Norris McLaughlin & Marcus, has been brought on to the board of directors.

Jesse Nash, a senior associate of law firm Norris McLaughlin & Marcus of Bridgewater, has become a member of the Somerset Valley YMCA Board of Directors, according to a release.

“The Somerset Valley YMCA offers a lot to all the families and individuals in Somerset County," Nash said in the release. "It is a great place to exercise, offers quality daycare and aftercare programs, boasts a nationally-competitive swim team and a summer camp, but above all, it has a deep connection to the community in which we live."

According to Somerset Valley YMCA Chief Executive Officer Paul Kieltyka, in the release, the Somerset Valley YMCA has had a long-standing relationship with the law firm for more than 25 years, and it gives a scholarship, called the McLaughlin Scholarship, for children whose families cannot afford to send them to the YMCA.

“We are so honored to have Jesse join us in this leadership position on our Board of Directors," Kieltyka said in the release. "We have been impressed with his energy, knowledge and passion to ensure our YMCA can have the maximum impact on the communities we serve."

Nash is a member of the real estate, banking and financial services, and business law groups with the law firm. A resident of Branchburg, he works on commercial real estate transactions and construction projects, and represents real estate developers and landlords.

On the banking side, the release said, Nash works with lending institutions and borrowers, among others. He also represents businesses and entrepreneurs.

According to the release, Nash was selected for inclusion in the Real Estate section of "New Jersey Monthly's" New Jersey Rising Stars. Nash earned a degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2003 and a bachelor of science degree from Liberty University in 1999, the release said.

The Somerset Valley YMCA has branches in Bridgewater, Hillsborough and Somerville.
