Don't Steal, Adopt Your Pit Bull Puppy
Some people apparently can't wait for a new pet.
It seems to have started well enough—a young couple inquiring about adopting a dog at the Tuesday morning. But before shelter employees realized what was happening, a and the couple was gone.
Fortunately, Sugar was found safe the next day.
There are lots of other pit bulls who would love to have someone visit a shelter and ask about adoption. Pit bulls have gotten a bad rap, thanks to far too many abusive owners who want to train them to fight—but most owners swear by the breeds' passive nature.
