Event Could be a Bonanza

Prizes for the taking at the end of this week.

An annual event will give you the chance at winning some fun prizes via a drawing at the end of the next seven days.

Here's a look at what else is happening this week:

Monday-The Bridgewater-Raritan High School varsity ice hockey team will take on Ocean Township in the first round of the Public A state tournament at at 4 p.m.

Tuesday-An art and photo exhibit of the four seasons at Leonard J. Buck Garden in Far Hills will be showcased from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Wednesday-Let your young children say happy birthday to Dr. Suess. Children ages 4-6 can enjoy stories and cake at from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Advanced registration and payment is required, so check out the event listing ASAP.

Thursday-A scholarship workshop for 4-H members will be held at the 4-H Center at the 7 p.m.

Friday-A production of the "Velveteen Rabbit" based on the story by Margery Williams will be performed by the Somerset Valley Players at the  in Hillsborough at 8 p.m.

Saturday-It's recycling drop off day at the Somerset County Recycling Center on Polhemus Lane. You can do so from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Food Bank Network of Somerset County and the Leadership Somerset Class of 2008 will also be collecting at the center, so make sure to donate.

Sunday-The annual Big Basket Bonanza, with chances to win hundreds of prizes by drawing, will be held at the Ted Blum 4-H Center at the Rutgers Cooperative Extension at 1 p.m.
