5 Reasons to Check Out the BRHS Band

Tonight is the winter band concert, and we've got five reasons you should head over to the school at 7:30 p.m. for the show.

1. They're so good—Speaking completely objectively, the students in the band have won countless awards, between their time with the marching band, trying out for regional bands and other opportunities. What better way to congratulate them than by checking out their latest performance?
2. It's a night of music—Who doesn't want to have a [free] evening of music?
3. It's a great time to meet up with friends—There's nothing better than hanging out with friends and family, and a high school event, with good music, is a great and safe way to do so.
4. It just might get you interested in music—You never know, but some time spent listening to the band might encourage you to pick up an instrument yourself [it's been known to happen!].
5. It's a good way to keep the holiday season going—It's true, winter music concerts usually happen around the holiday break, and we're all bummed that we've had to head back to school. So let's bring back a little bit of that holiday magic with one more concert this season.
