Great Plays, Great Music, Great Summer Camps

The year is off to a bit of a slow start, but that doesn't mean there aren't a few options for events like an open house and a Broadway-inspired play.

Why Go: To get information about the summer camp programs offered and meet the staff through the YMCA in Bridgewater, Hillsborough and Somerville.

"Damn Yankees"
When/Where: Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Raritan Valley Community College.
Why Go: To see a great play about baseball in the midst of football and basketball season. And did we mention the play won many awards when it was on Broadway?

Olde Mill Inn Countywide Bridal Showcase
When/Where: Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Olde Mill Inn on Route 202 in Basking Ridge.
Why Go: To tour the inn, sample the food and meet with vendors who can help make your wedding day a great success.

When/Where: Saturday at 9 p.m. at , Morristown.
Why Go: You want to hear a live band performing covers from the 70s to today while enjoying a beer or three.
Cost: No cover

Why Go: You want a little more funny in your life.
