From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday at Central Moving Systems in Bridgewater.
Why Go: 
To learn to save green by going green. Talk to an Alteris Renewables solar expert and learn more about solar power during this national solar tour.

When/Where: 
From 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Sunday at  in Bridgewater.
Why Go: 
To learn how to create the wedding of your dreams. Consult with wedding experts, choose your dream registry and enjoy complimentary food and drinks.

From 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at Washington Valley Park in Bridgewater.
Why Go: 
To join the New Jersey Young Professionals in a hike to witness the migration of wildlife while socializing and meeting new friends. 
Pricing: 
Members $5 to $20, Non-members $20. Registration required.


When/Where: 
At 9 a.m. on Saturday at  in Bridgewater.
Why Go: 
Because kids ages 5 to 12 can build their own fire rescue helicopters and earn a sense of accomplishment.

When/Where: 
From 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m on Thursday and from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday at the 
Why Go: 
To pick up some great titles while benefitting the library.

When/Where: 
At 2 p.m. on Saturday at Environmental Education Center at Lord Stirling Park in Basking Ridge.
Why Go: 
For families and all ages to bid farewell to the butterflies for the season. Learn where they go for the cold weather and all about their life cycles.
Pricing: 
Free. Registration required. 


When/Where: 
From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday at Central Jersey Regional Airport in Hillsborough.
Why Go: 
To step inside a Blackhawk helicopter, sit at the controls and get your picture taken with Somerset County resident Tony Gianno, who pilots this workhorse of the U.S. military. It's a kid-friendly event that benefits Operation Shoebox and our troops.
Pricing: 
Free. Donations gratefully accepted. 


When/Where: 
From 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Environmental Education Center at Lord Stirling Park in Basking Ridge.
Why Go:
 To step back in time to the Colonial period. Costumed period re-enactors will ply their trades, a town crier will deliver the daily news and military detachments will camp and conduct maneuvers. Enjoy fresh apple cider, kids activities and a hay ride, or have your picture taken in Colonial costume while restrained to the Somerset Gaoler's wooden stock.
Pricing: 
$4 donation suggested. 


When/Where: 
From 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday at  in Basking Ridge.
Why Go: 
To sort out fact and fiction of amazing historical photographs and prints of The Vealtown Tavern and the Blairsden Estate. Pick up a copy of a "Ghosts of Central Jersey" signed by the author or just dare to be intrigued.
Pricing: 
Free admission. Signed book prices vary.


When/Where: 
From 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday at the Codington Farmstead in Warren.
Why Go: 
To tour the house that represents three centuries of the Codington family and get an insight into farm life from the Colonial era to the 20th Century.

Free.
