Sometimes there's just not enough days in the week, but every Wednesday we'll give you an idea of something to do to relax, spend time with family and just take some time for yourself.
And coming up in only one week is an exciting golf event for women in business to meet, greet and eat.
The Somerset County Business Partnership "Women in Business" group is hosting its third annual "Golf Clinic and Lunch for Women in Business" May 23 from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Callaway Golf Learning Center at the Neshanic Valley Golf Course.
Women in Business is a program that is directed at the needs of women, and provides opportunities for those women who own businesses.
The event will begin with a two-hour opportunity to work with Neshanic Valley golf professionals, followed by a networking and barbeque buffet from Merri-Makers Catering.
Door prizes will also be awarded at the event.
The learning center, where business women will have the change to improve their driving range skills, includes a 12,000-square-foot putting green, a practice facility and two practice holes.
"Over two years, this event has developed into one of the most popular of the many Women in Business events," said Diana Sieberg, vice president of the Business Partnership, in a press release. "Both non-golfers and those more experienced are comfortable in the environment, everyone appears to learn something, and valuable business contacts are made."
Pre-registration is required for the program, and the fee is $50 for Business Partnership members and $75 for non-members.
The fee for just the networking and lunch is $30 for members and $40 for non-members.
