Last week Milltown School in Bridgewater participated in the Quarters for the Cure Fundraiser with the Rutgers Cancer Instittue of NJ.
Our school held a week long challenge to raise money and awareness for the importance of finding a cure for cancer. The children held a classroom challenge to see who can raise the most funds, participated in a lemonade sale and tried their hand at the Water Game.
They also made get well cards for children with cancer. Parents and staff were given the opportunity to honor their loved ones on the Wall of Honor. The children truly enjoyed participating in this event which raised $2100.
