Residents See Fourth, Fifth Days Without Power

A few thousand residents around town are still without power as of 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, many having dealt with it since the snow first fell Saturday.

Here is what some residents had to say on Facebook about how the past few days have been:

• Eileen Wolak: "Still no power or cable on Meadow Road. We have a generator that we can run some things in the house, but no tv and Internet leaves us cut off a bit at times. We helped some friends, but many have gone to other houses or hotels. We won't leave our pet."
• Heidi Ettlinger Ginsberg: "No power on Candlewick. And that would be the start of day 5."
• Denise DeRose Meyer: "Still no power also on Meadow—neighborhood is like a ghost town, day 4."
• Jim Buckridge: "One of many JCP&L customers in the dark."
• Jill Wolper Miller: "Still no power."
