Band Will Prove It All Night at Duke Island Park

Springsteen tribute band has played before three million people

You can get your Springsteen fix on Sunday by going to a free concert at Duke Island Park, featuring the longest running tribute band in the world.

The B Street Band, originally known as Backstreets, will perform from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Formed in Asbury Park in 1980,  the top drawing band has performed from Maine to the Bahamas for more than three million people. Over the last 30 years, the band has played in more than 800 different nightclubs and 200 colleges through 20 different states.

The addition of Springsteen look-alike, Glenn Stuart, furthered the success of the group, playing powerful Springsteen favorites and popular dance tunes.

But the band’s playlist also includes Roy Orbison, Billy Joel, 70's Disco, Motown, Tom Petty and John Mellencamp.

Concert sponsor is Magic 98.3-WMGQ-FM Radio.
