Video and Photos: Threat of Rain Doesn't Stop Duke Island's 14th Annual Bayou Fest

Music and Cajun food kept the party going at the Somerset County Park Commission's annual event.

On July 25, the Somerset County Park Commission held its 14th annual Bayou Fest at Duke Island Park, featuring live zydeco music, fun and Cajun food by Touch Bayou.

Although earlier storms threatened the event, the skies had cleared by the evening, and the festival was held as planned.

Musical guests—The VooDUDES, and Lil Malcom and the Zydeco House Rockers—performed popular hits like "Ring of Fire" and "Down on the Bayou." People of all ages enjoyed the upbeat music, as they sang along and danced in the crowd.
