The 28th annual "Lead East," the "World's Biggest '50s Party" is at the Parsippany Hilton Hotel from Sept. 1 through Sept. 5. It's a celebration of the music and the cars of the 1950s, with activities that include sock hops, drive-in movies, cruising, Jitterbug and swing Dancing, doo-wop a cappella, and a prom night. Adults (18 to 65) - Thurs or Fri: $12
Adults - Sat or Sun: $20
