Martinsville Community Center Fall Festival

The Martinsville Community Center is hosting the first annual Fall Festival on Saturday, 10/1 (rain or shine).  Admission is free and there is free parking at the Martinsville United Methodist Church.  The festival will be a family fun day and includes displays from local businesses, food, activities for children and performances/demonstrations by local groups.  The MCC will be joined by other groups who serve our community:  Martinsville Volunteer Fire Department, Martinsville Volunteer Rescue Squad, the Bridgewater Police and the Somerset County Historical Society.  Our recently published book, "Martinsville and the Washington Valley", will be available and the author, Patricia Valentine Whitacre, will be autographing books.  There will be a reminiscing session from 1:00-2:00pm called “I Grew Up in Martinsville”.  Don’t miss this opportunity to meet your neighbors and businesses and have fun!
