As for the adults, on Thursday, September 13th:

The Learning Happens series continues with “The Jersey Devil” at 9:30 am.  Presenter Angus Kress Gillespie is a professor of American Studies at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, a Fulbright professor and a New York Times best-selling author.  A Yale University graduate, he did his graduate work in folklore at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. The author of several books and numerous articles, Dr. Gillespie has a keen interest in the folklore of the Pine Barrens of southern New Jersey.

Also, a devilishly funny time will be had by all who attend “Good Lessons from Bad Women” at 7:00 pm. Dorothy Leeds performs this one-woman romp through history. She is a member of the Actor's Equity Association, SAG/AFTRA, and the Dramatists Guild with Broadway credits including Stop the World I Want to Get Off.

These programs are free and all are welcome to attend, but registration is required! You may register by phone 908-526-4016 x105, in person at the Adult Reference Desk, or online at www.sclsnj.org.
