Michele Conklin Achieves Veterinary Nutritional Advocate Award

Veterinary nurse at Bridgewater Veterinary Hospital completes course to educate clients about proper pet nutrition.

Michele Conklin, a health care team member at Bridgewater Veterinary Hospital in Bridgewater, has been awarded the title of Hill’s Veterinary Nutritional Advocate.

This certification signifies that Conklin successfully completed an on-line continuing educational experience on canine and feline nutrition. To earn this achievement, Michele had to demonstrate the ability to understand and communicate the benefits of proper pet nutrition.

The curriculum is offered to veterinary health care team members through Hill’s Pet Nutrition, Inc., makers of Prescription Diet and Science Diet pet food products. Hill’s has long been recognized as a leader in small animal clinical nutrition. The Veterinary Nutritional Advocate course has been designed to enhance veterinary practice personnel abilities to provide appropriate nutritional recommendations.
