Apple Stores Closed for Jobs Memorial

The one in the Bridgewater Commons Mall closed for two hours Wednesday.

Did you pass by the in the at 1 p.m. Wednesday and see curtains draped in front of the windows, and a sign saying it would reopen at 3 p.m.?

Were you confused by the temporary closing of the store?

If so, you weren't alone. According to nj.com, the store in the mall, as well as many others across the country, closed for two hours Wednesday so employees could watch a live webcast of a memorial service for Steve Jobs at Apple's headquarters in Cupertino, CA.
