Bit of Shopping, Bit of '80s Save 'Jerseylicious'

Sharpe's new job and DiMarco's birthday highlight this week's episode.

This week's episode of "Jerseylicious" was broken down into two very different pieces—a mid-life crisis at age 25 and moving forward with a new career.

Part of the episode focused on Montville High School graduate Olivia Blois Sharpe's new gig at Bergen.com, as she began to learn the ins and outs of being a tv stylist. After an incident with the copy machine (it is difficult to navigate), she got to see how her mentor, and boss, handles a segment on style.

And then she got the opportunity to do it herself.

"I was really excited to do my own haul, but I was a little worried about making it up to par," Sharpe said in the "Jerseylicious" style blogs. "When you're asked to talk directly to a camera, and you have to think carefully about what you're saying, it's completely different than anything you're used to doing."

There was a bit of a question over whether Sharpe has a real "Joisey" accent, but she got to shop and so everything was OK. It took a few takes as she continued to forget what she wanted to say, a little bit of cursing and some extra lip gloss, but she finally got it right—at least as right as her camera guy seemed to expect for a first time.

And at hair stylist Tracey DiMarco's 25th birthday party, she took the time to celebrate her year of birth (and three years before her fiance was even born), 1987.

Aside from the perceived drama about inviting Gigi Liscio's ex to her party (because he's friends with her fiance), the party seemed to go off without a hitch—until Liscio saw a photo of them all on the Internet the next day giving the finger to the camera and, of course, assumed that was directed specifically at her ("you're so vain ... you probably think this song is about you ...").

"Jerseylicious" airs at 8 p.m. Sundays on the Style Network.
