Bridgewater Marriott Sold Out of Rooms, YMCA Offering Showers

The hotel is full with people suffering from no power in their homes.

With the number of power outages still in the thousands after Saturday's snowstorm, people are looking for places to stay to get warm—unfortunately, the is no longer an option.

As of 11 a.m. Monday, the Marriott was completely full, mostly with people trying to find a place to stay with power, according to the hotel.

Those still looking for a place, and wanting a Marriott, are encouraged to look at Woodbridge and Princeton, which are the closest ones with rooms.

But, hotel representatives, said, the rooms are filling quickly.

And for those just wanting a hot shower, the is opening its doors to help.

According to a press release from the Somerset Valley YMCA, all three branches—in Bridgewater, Hillsborough and Somerville—are welcoming residents without power to visit any of the locations for a shower or just to get warm.

"We're here for the community to provide any relief we can," said Paul Kieltyka, Somerset Valley YMCA CEO, in a release. "Just check in at the front desk and let them know you are there."
