Employees Walk for Their Health

Sanofi-Aventis kicks off National Employee Wellness Month.

June means National Employee Wellness Month, and Bridgewater-based kicked it off right June 1 with the creation of a variety of program to encourage its employees to adopt healthy habits.

First off, the company is launching a nationwide Walking Club for all its facilities in partnership with the American Heart Association, allowing employees to take walks during the work day.

In addition, the company has created other wellness programs with the goals of keeping employees healthy and out of doctor's offices. Many of the programs throughout the country included biking clubs, Weight Watchers at Work, blood pressure screenings and fitness centers.
